Extended FAQS

Are CBD oil and hemp oil the same thing?

Hemp seed oil, also sometimes called “hemp oil”, is derived from the seeds of the hemp plant they contain no phytocannabinoids . The oil is packed full of healthy omega-3 fatty acids, which are proven to do wonders for your skin, but it doesn’t have the same benefits as CBD oil, It’s very important to look out for this to make sure you’re getting what you’re actually looking for. Our Oil is the real deal so look no further if you are planning on buying CBD.

The hemp extract oils that are the basis of CBD products are made from the flowers and leaves of the hemp plant, where all those beneficial phytocannabinoids live.

Will CBD Get Me High?

CBD does not have the intoxicating properties of THC because it doesn’t directly bind to your CB1 receptors.

All humans contain an endocannabinoid system made up of CB1 and CB2 receptors, These receptors interact with cannabinoids like THC and CBD as well as working with the cannabinoids produced by your own body, CB1 receptors are located mostly in the brain.

The binding of THC to your CB1 receptors is what makes you have the feeling of being high.

CBD also interacts with the CB1 receptor, but not directly.

CBD can block the breakdown of a cannabinoid which your body produces called anandamide.

Anandamide, which gets it’s name from the Sanskrit word Ananda meaning bliss, binds to your CB1 receptors similarly to THC.

The relaxing effects of CBD are thought to be caused by it’s prevention of the breakdown of the Anadamide.

CBD is “non-psychoactive”.

You don’t have to dig deep to find information about how CBD is “non-psychoactive”.

While CBD may not affect your mental state in the same way as THC, it certainly has an effect on the mind for a majority of people.

The positive mental effects of CBD are by far what makes CBD so special!

The leaves and flowers of marijuana plants are used to make joints and edibles because they typically contain 15-20% THC. CBD oils are made from the hemp plants, which contain, at most, 0.3% THC. That’s why CBD oils don’t get you high.

Why put CBD oil under your tongue?

Not very many people know this but taking certain supplements under your tongue can help the supplement get absorbed by the body quicker

The supplement is absorbed by the body faster.” But why? Well, when a substance is placed under your tongue for example CBD, it diffuses through the mucous membranes beneath your tongue, because of the plethora of capillaries that are there, the CBD then has a direct route into your bloodstream. This allows the oil or medicine to work faster,

But why?

Because our digestive track breaks down our food and quite often the nutrients are destroyed so basically it literally gets flushed down the toilet, So putting under the tongue can speed up the process and hit you blood stream immediately.

There has been reports on many health sites that cutting medication (tablets in half and placing under the tongue can produce the same effect as swallowing one tablet.

There is also another way of taking our CBD oil, This technique is called the Pechoti method. According to Ayurvedic text, it’s talked about how the Pechoti gland is located behind the belly button. When a woman is pregnant, this is where nutrients are carried from mother to baby. Right at the end of the umbilical cord lies the Pechoti gland, and it remains there long after birth. What makes this truly amazing and a mind blowing fact is that the Pechoti gland is connected to more than 70 million nerves, tissues, and organs throughout the body. That’s a huge amount!
